Each summer season we recruit instructors and helpers to work at the club. The jobs are advertised in the local press (Sligo Champion) and through this website. Application form here

Helpers
Certificates which must accompany your application (which will be returned at interview);
Advanced boat handling or old ISA Dinghy level 3 certificate
Birth Certificate - you must be 15 years old
Instructors
Certificates which must accompany your application (which will be returned at interview);
ISA Instructor certificate
Powerboat/Safety boat certificate
First Aid qualification
VHF qualification
Birth Certificate
Instructors must hold an ISA Senior (SI), Racing (RI), Advanced (AI) or Dinghy (DI) Instructor’s Certificate. Experience of working in a team and also with children is desired. You should also have dinghy racing experience and be an active sailor. We are particularly interested in instructors with racing experience.

Senior Instructors will be asked to provide two references one of which should be a sailing/instruction reference.
