Who can join?
Membership is open to anyone interested in sailing, subject to club committee approval. Complete the proposal form and post it to our membership secretary, Isobel Carr, 12 Farmleigh Close, Stillorgan Co. Dublin. It is preferable that you get current members of the club to propose and second you.  There is an entry fee of €250 for a family and €165 for an individual, payable on joining the club along with the current year's fee.  (See below)

Must I have a sailing qualification to join MSC?
No. You don't need any sailing qualifications to join MSC. We have many courses on offer.  More....

Do I need to own a boat to join MSC?
No, it is preferable but not essential. Member are encouraged to source their own boats. If you are crewing for a member, planning to buy a boat or can arrange to sail a member's boat, you are welcome to join.

What type of training is available with MSC?
We offer a variety of training courses such as, Navigation Theory, VHF/GMDSS, Sea Survival, Radar, Racing Rules, First Aid, Dinghy Instructor course and Race Management, depending on the demand.
