Triathlon Ireland "As ever with Mullaghmore there was a carnival atmosphere with lots of noise being added by the air sea rescue helicopter which hovered over the event for most of the duration keeping an eye on the swimmers and the runners as the proceeded around the cliffs at the back of Mullaghmore head. There was a large turnout of first time triathletes some of whom chose to do the 350m swim option and hopefully they will move on to do the sprint distance next year." Club president.
