During the summer, Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening racing is organised for the benefit of juniors and adults. There is class racing organised for Topaz, Lasers, Toppers, Oppies etc. where results are calculated after applying a handicap system.
We encourage all junior sailors , adult sailors (members and non-members) to attend these sessions because it is a great chance to practice newly learnt skills and have a bit of fun. A prize is presented at the end of the season to the most improved sailor. Contact

if you are interested. It is a good idea to start as you mean to go on for example if you start with a crew you need to continue with that crew for your points to add up over the summer. Times Sunday mornings at 11.30am and Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm.
| | Being on time Try to arrive in plenty of time to get yourself ready and to get your boat ready. It's the Atlantic not the Bahamas so wear sensible gear. If you are not adequately attired you will not be allowed on the water. | | Safety Rescue is organised for each session and sailing safely is paramount. Parents are asked to be shoremaster personnel and on-the-waterpersonnel if at all possible. If you don't have your own boat you can always use a club boat (small fee for non-members). You must register with the shoremaster before you head out on the water. You must wear a lifejacket and bootees are also essential - especially when you are loading the boats back on to the trolleys on the slip.
| | Helping each other If you help each other launch and retrieve, things move much smoother and loads are lighter! | | | NO LIFEJACKET - NO BOOTEES - NO SAIL! | |
